Lisa Cole

I am an experienced and accredited Cognitive Behavioural psychotherapist with the BABCP (British Association of Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapists). 

Big Skies Therapy is my own private practice. Within my psychotherapy practice you will receive high quality CBT to help you overcome anxiety, depression or any feeling where you may be feeling down in mood, lost in direction, worried, in a bit of a rut, or that life just isn't feeling quite how you want it to feel.

I am delighted to have helped many people over the years to recover and get back to enjoying life again.

What does working with me look like?

I offer a 15 minute free "discovery" chat (telephone or video) for you to find out how CBT could help you (with no obligations).
You may prefer to communicate via email to explore how CBT may work for you. 

If you choose to go forward with therapy, I will ask you to fill in a Therapy contract and to provide me with basic details about yourself and your reasons for seeking therapy. We will arrange an initial 50 minute appointment that fits with your schedule. 

I will call you at the agreed time, so all you need to do is find somewhere comfy, private and undisturbed, grab a notepad and pen and perhaps a cup of tea.

In session one we will explore your current difficulties together, and look at where you want to get to in therapy, and how you want life to look like - these will be your therapy goals.   If you decide to continue working with me after our first session we will agree a plan together to tackle those goals.
